Fatal multi car pileup in Albany NY caused by distracted “Pokemon Go” app user

Albany NY-

1-90 was backed up for several miles this afternoon after a Pokemon “Go” application user was hunting for “Pokespots,” where users can collect monsters to battle with.

It was a tragedy that had no purpose as thousands were stuck in traffic and two have been pronounced dead on the interstate just outside of NY State Capital Albany.

Robert Pall, 25, of Saratoga NY, was playing on his application driving his 2003 Ford Mustang hunting for Pokemon.

Sadly, he did not yield to merging traffic and passed away, along with Susan Korowiscz of Rotterdam.

Users must find “Pokespots” to find the monsters, otherwise they cannot progress in the virtual reality game.
